Intuitive Eating is a self-care eating framework, which integrates instinct, emotion, and rational thought and was created by two dietitians, Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch in 1995. Intuitive Eating is a weight-inclusive, evidence-based model with a validated assessment scale and over 140 studies to date.
It’s a personal and dynamic process, which includes 10 principles:

The principles work in two key ways:
By helping you cultivate attunement to the physical sensations that arise from within your body to get both your biological and psychological needs met and removing the obstacles and disruptors to attunement, which usually come from the mind in the form of rules, beliefs, and thoughts.
The process of Intuitive Eating is a practice, which honors both physical and mental health.
Intuitive Eating is aligned with Health at Every Size, because the pursuit of intentional weight loss is a failed paradigm, which creates health problems: including weight stigma, weight cycling, and eating disorders.
All bodies deserve dignity and respect.
Rejecting the diet mentality and becoming an Intuitive Eater can be a tricky process to navigate that truly requires commitment and may require additional customized support.
That’s where I come in!
As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I have completed an in-depth certification process including coursework, supervision, testing and meeting standardized professional requirements.
I provide coaching through a lens that is aligned with my professional education and experience as a health educator and fitness professional. My focus is to help you cultivate habits that will allow you to enjoy your life without letting the number on the scale determine your worth.

Your customized Intuitive Eating Coaching program includes:
1) One virtual coaching session per week for 3-months with accompanying worksheets and assignments to complete in between sessions
2) Voxer (a free voice and text messaging app) access to check-in between sessions as needed.
3) A copy of the Intuitive Eating Workbook – an amazing interactive resource that we’ll use together!
